Chapter 20i: Maintain/Voice Port

The Voice Port command brings up the Port Options window, which tells the system how to handle the recording and playback of calls. The options available in this window are described below.

Record and Play Messages On:

Call In - Select this option if an outside phone will be used for recording (only used if you do not have a SoundSet).

SoundSet - Select this option if a SoundSet will be used for recording and playback.

System Operator - Not implemented.

Call In On Port - If you have selected the Call In option above, this field should contain the number of the line that you are using to record and play back prompts by phone. If you are using a SoundSet, the setting in this box will have no effect.

SoundSet On Port - If you have selected the SoundSet option above, enter in this field the number of the port to which you have attached your SoundSet (see Appendices for Hardware Wiring instructions).
