Part III c: Flirtz (Interest Signals)

After purchasing this module, you will receive files and information to enable to this feature.

- INTEREST SIGNALS -

This capability is set within the privileges for the search box. When in the search box, after hearing each survey description, the box owner will have the option to send an 'interest signal'. They will still have the options to go to the mailbox to record a regular message, but if they are perhaps too shy to  record a message, they can send the 'interest signal'. The interest signal is really a global system prompt that you have recorded - this could be recorded as perhaps "This person is interested in you". The receiver will hear it as a message in their mailbox - "This person is interested in you" from "Joe ". It will work basically the same way as if the original person recorded and sent a regular message. Be sure you have 'checked in' to the system via the User Phantom, Supervisor Phantom, or an Access Box set to validate prior to going to the search box. If you have not entered a mailbox number and password to let the system know who you are, you will not hear the option to send an interest signal in the search box.

When the receiver hears the 'interest signal' message, they will have the option to hear the box number and the survey description, if you have 'review send msg survey' checked under Privileges, mailbox. This works the same way as a regular message being sent.

The interest signal prompt file is intmsg.voi and can be recorded under Maintain, System Prompts.
