Part III m: Mailbox Scheduled Greetings

When enabled for this Add-On Module, you will have the ability to have certain mailbox greetings automatically in force at pre-determined days and times.

For example, you might want to have your mailbox greeting number 1 transfer to your office phone Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Then, without your having to reset it, have it automatically move to greeting number 2 at 5:01 pm. Your greeting number 2 could transfer to your cell phone.

In addition, you could have your greeting number 3 automatically 'kick in' on Saturday and Sunday. That greeting could have no transfer number set up and simply take a message.

Click on Boxes, then Mailboxes. On the right side of the screen, click on Greetings.

This feature works essentially as the mailbox message notification. You need to be sure that you do not set your from and to spread over midnight, as in 'from 17:01pm  to 8:59 am'.

If you want greeting number 1 to play from 9-17 Monday - Friday and greeting number 2 to play from 17:01 to 8:59, which is really anytime except 9-5, then list your greeting number 1 first, from 9 to 17 and check Monday-Friday. Next, list your greeting number 2 from zero to zero Monday - Friday. The program will look thru the greetings listed to match the current time to an appropriate greeting. So, it will find the 9-17 slot first. Then, at 8 pm it will cycle down to the next level. If you enter them the other way around, the program will never get to the second  slot, as zero to zero means ANYTIME.
